Will work on both fiction and non-fiction creative writing

$250 for one month per student.

Meets once a week for two hours 5-7pm. Wednesdays in Coral Gables @ 3232 Coral Way.

Taught by: Writer and Multi-media artist, Vanessa Garcia. Garcia has taught Literary Journalism at the University of California Irvine; Introduction to Creative Writing at the University of Miami; Essay Writing for Johns Hopkins CTY Program; and Writing at Miami Dade College, among other institutions. She holds a BA from Barnard College, Columbia University (summa cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa); an MFA from the University of Miami in Fiction; an MA in English from the University of California Irvine; and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of California Irvine in English and Creative Nonfiction. She is a fulltime writer and journalist, who has written and reported for the New York Times; the LA Times; the Miami Herald; and numerous other publications. She is also a Huffington Post Blogger.
